Kroger Shopping with Sarah

Sarah is one of my elderly neighbors in the high rise. A Kroger bus comes every other Monday to take us shopping. It's usually a lot more crowded than it was today. The focus is mostly on Sarah, though. She is my mother in Spirit, and I wanted you all to meet her. She's one of the brightest angels in the darkness. She's simply beautiful.

Pigeon Tales

Okay, I just couldn't resist just one more pigeon post. I also couldn't resist Windows Photo Show. Thanks for indulging me!

Cedar Hill Enrichment Center

This land is Native land. The photos were taken during my three-day retreat at this sacred place. I am a different person because of the energies these grounds offer.

This presentation was made in Windows Photo Story 3. The photos were taken with an old Olympus Camedia D-380. For a 2 megapixel camera, I am not complaining. I can't believe how well these shots turned out!

Miracle Birds

The positive responses I have gotten from my bird videos compelled me to do one more this morning. I sure enjoyed making it, and I hope you enjoy watching!

To Jodie

Jodie and I have been friends for eight years. We live so far apart,we only get to see each other about every two years. She has been sending me VHS videos for a couple years now, and I have been watching her girls grow up on video. Even though she doesn't have a blog yet, she is still blogging to me via email and home video (not to mention the day-long phone calls on Sundays)! She and I will be videoblogging together the next time we see each other. That will be in about six months because another good friend of mine who lives near Jodie is pregnant with twins, and I just gotta go see them!!! She's been sending me videos of her first child since he was born.

So... here is my first video to Jodie and to anyone else who likes the flute (or friendships)

Come Fly with Me!

Okay, so I'm crazy about birds! Why? Because they can fly! They are free!!! These pigeons have been coming in for breakfast for the last 3 years. They each have their own names and distinct personalities. They are so strong and tough, but I lose several a year. It's sad, but the good news is, they nearly always have offspring. I can tell by their markings who their parents were. They come to my window as babies, though they look like adults. The babies just squeak and squall and they are smaller. They also have to learn how to leave when they are through eating. They learn fast after flying into the closed window a couple times. Anyway, this is my world every morning. I hope you can see a glimpse of what I see in these wonderful, gentle birds.

Okay, I'm getting serious about this video blog now :o)

I am still learning, but more importantly, I joined a community of video bloggers who are very encouraging. Thank you all so much for your comments.

I vow to post more often.

This is my dove, Angel. She drove me crazy while editing the clips. She is fascinated by online videos in general, and this one is all about her, and she knows it. She gave me no peace.
