I figured it was about time I posted my artwork. During the process of making this video, it unfolded magically on its own to become a dedication, not only to my friends in Minnesota, but to those Minnesotan commuters whom I have never met. I pray that we all make it home safely.

Jayme,
Those are incredibly beautiful--you have multiple talents.
Thank you, Gianna. It's been a few years since I've drawn anything. I always loved how I felt when I drew. I was "in the zone". Shrinks call it "dissociation." Uh.. yeah.. okay.
Jayme, I'm new to your blog - its fabulous. Your drawing is simply fantastic - it is wonderful a perspective, and your subject seems to be very deeply in thought.

Hello Linda! It's great to have you here. I'm thrilled you like my blog!
Hi Jayme, I'm knew to your blog as well and really enjoying it. Your art work is amazing! The detail in the eyes ... you've really captured their soul. Just fantastic. Thanks for sharing.:-)
I'm thrilled you like my drawings! Thank so much for the feedback! Maybe I'll start drawing agauin. It's been a long time.
Jayme, your drawings are *amazing*. Thank you for sharing them (I was drawn in by the initial eye drawing, as I could not believe it was other than a B&W photo).
And, thanks for the kind comments on Shrink Rap.
Thank you for stopping by, Roy. I've always enjoyed drawing eyes the most, and at times I can sense the soul in the person or animal I'm drawing.
Shrink Rap is great, and I would recommend it to anyone who cares to listen to shrinks talk about shrink stuff. It's my choice podcast for the gym, and then I listen to MindFreedom afterward. The dichotomy keeps me balanced.
The cockatiels were my favorite. Thanks for visiting Shrink Rap.
Thanks for stopping by, Clink! Does your nickname come from the sound of the prison bars? I've always wondered.
Your drawings are incredible! They're not stiff or look contrived....they breathe. I know what it's like to get in that zone to draw or paint. It's wonderful. The hurdle is to begin. when it calls to you, begin again. Thanks for sharing.
I would like to draw again. I'm definitely open to the call. I've never been very good at multitasking, though, and it seems like I always have one creative outlet going at a time. Right now it seems to be video. I have no idea why! Who knows about next week...
Wow. Jayme, these are beautiful, as clear and detailed as photographs...amazing.
I think that "zone" that one goes into during the creative process is more of a state of intense focus, total mindfulness rather than dissociation. It is a powerful feeling.
Yes, and it's incredibly timeless too. Time loses all relevance.
