Last Sunday I attended the 10th anniversary memorial service of the Cemetery Restoration Project at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, GA. If you are unfamiliar with the story of this cemetery, view a previous video Let Me Live. For those of you who follow this blog, you know what this cemetery means to me and to all the people who died at the "largest lunatic asylum in the world." Of course it's not called that today. We've come a long way but we still have a long way to go.

In the Arms of the Angels

that must have been so emotional for you. sorry for not stopping by for these past weeks. i was quite depressed but now i am feeling more together. i hope to catch up with your blog.

The service had its moments, especially with the releasing of the doves, but I had a great time. So many people were there that I dearly love and admire, plus The Today Show was filming everything. I felt a kindred spirit with all involved, including the camera people as we competed for tripod space :wink:

I LOVE YOUR VIDEO'S AND YES IT IS ABOUT RECOVERY, AND THEY ARE IN THE ARMS OF THE ANGEL.I WISH THAT CALIFORNIA MEMORIAL PROJECT COULD SEE IT THIS WAY WIH ALOT OF DIGNETY AND RESPECT. FIVE YEARS AGO I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT MY STATE HOSPITAL HAVING A CEMENTERY, CREAMATORIN ROOM, AND HAVE A MORG, AND DOING A KINDS OF TEST WITH SPERMENTAL DRUGS. I HAVE A CHOICE TODAY A CHOICE TO LIVE MY LIFE, A CHOICE TO GET INVOLVED WTIH THE CUMUNITY, AND TO BE A PART OF A CUMUNITY.
